Mike McCullough: Mike has over 30 years experience in the bus industry in Florida. He began his career as a mechanic and soon joined the Broward County School District. He has worked with the Florida Department of Education as a Fleet Specialists and later as the Program Director of Operations before he joined Navistar International as a service manager and national account manager for south-east region. Mike joined Rivers Bus Sales in 2004. Mike brings valuable experience to the table on all aspects of the bus business.
Jamie Gray: Jamie started with Rivers Bus and RV in 2009. Jamie was soon transferred to their Bus Division where he has been representing the IC bus brand ever since. Jamie has built many strong relationships in the past five years and is excited to remain a representative for the IC bus brand and will continue to be a trusted advisor for the districts in Florida.
Margaret Holland: Prior to joining Sun State, Margaret enjoyed a successful career in Finance and Sales. Margaret began her career with Sun State International in 2013, focusing on New and Used Truck Sales. Margaret is now responsible for the southern Florida territory within the Bus Sales Department, assisting Florida Schools with their transportation needs.
James "Jim" Powers: After serving in the U.S. Army he started his career with International Trucks and then O'Halloran International Truck, that ran for 23 years. Jim then served as Fleet Maintenance Director for Highway Carrier Corp managing 600 Class 8 Tractors and 1200 Trailers. He relocated to Tampa in 1997 and started a career with Sun State and worked in the Parts Department as an Outside Sales Person.
Dianna Chesney: Dianna began her Bus career as the Sales Coordinator for Rivers Bus Sales in May of 2006. She will use her strong background in sales administration to assist the Sun State Bus Centers in managing the sales and ordering process. In addition, she will work with FDOE to meet all the requirements of the state bus contract. Basically, living and breathing everything ‘Yellow.’
Regional Bus Sales Manager, IC Bus
Larry McEntire: Has been with IC BUS/International for 20+ years. As a Regional Sales Manager, he has the responsibility to support the IC BUS Dealers and work with their Sales Teams in meeting customer needs in the School Bus business. Prior to IC Bus/International, he worked in the field of School Transportation (18 years) including as a State Director.
Michael Baker: Mike Baker has accepted the responsibility of full-time Technical Trainer for Sun State Bus Centers, providing bus focused training for our customers as well as our internal bus support staff.
Returning to the US in 1993, Mike started with Sun State as a technician. He has held several roles since including lead technician and manager of bus A/C installation operations.
Most recently Mike has led Sun State’s apprenticeship program training. He has also conducted diagnostic training for technicians at the Annual FAPT Summer Technicians Workshop
